Punta del Este can be accessed using different means of transport, from land, sea and air.
By plane
From some of the main European cities, as well as from the most important cities of America, Punta del Este can be reached by plane through "Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco", and from there, by land. There are some direct flights to "Aeropuerto Internacional de Laguna del Sauce", 21 kilometers from the beach resort.
By sea
Many companies offer different daily frequencies that link Buenos Aires and Montevideo by ship, and from there a bus can take you to Punta del Este or if you bring your car, you can drive 120 km to Punta.
By road
Visitors can reach the resort by road. They can do it either by bus or with their own car. (See location section for more information.) |
